Public Affairs and Promotions
This component of OEBD helps to coordinate community festivals, business grand openings, special ceremonies, etc. A key thrust of these activities is to generate community participation. OEBD provides strategic assistance in coordinating involvement of public officials and community leaders, and will assist with publicity efforts.
Partners for Progress
Inglewood Partners for Progress (IPP) was incorporated as a nonprofit corporation in June of 1993. The membership is comprised of representatives from the Forum, Hollywood Park Race Track and Casino, Centinela Hospital Medical Center, Daniel Freeman Memorial Hospital, Inglewood Park Cemetery, the City of Inglewood, and the Inglewood/Airport Area Chamber of Commerce. The Partners organization is responsible for developing a series of innovative programs and projects to enhance the City's image.
