The 2009-10 City of Inglewood Building Division includes a staff of thirteen.   Of those staff positions, five are professional engineers, five are licensed building inspectors and two are administrative support personnel.   Together, the staff provides expertise in the areas of building construction, building safety and building inspections as well as provides plan check review and analysis.   The staff’s primary purpose is to guide the public through the building construction process and to serve as a resource for building safety and design issues. 

The staff serves to support the activities of the City of Inglewood City Council and City Administration.  The staff is often requested to provide information and assistance to civic and regional organizations.
