Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities

The parks are located on 100 acres of land.  Below are the parks and the facilities that are available for events.  Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department Main Office is located in the City Hall Facility, (310) 412-8750.

Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department offers Pre-School classes to children ages two to five years old.  Classes are held at the following locations: Darby Park, LockHaven Community Center, Rogers Park, Siminski Park and Edward Vincent Jr. Park.

Senior Services are located at the Senior Center and City Recreation Centers including Vincent, Darby, Rogers and Siminski Park.  The Parks offer many programs and trips.

Meals and transportation is provided by the Inglewood Senior Citizens Center .

Baseball, soccer and football fields are available for rent by contacting the office at (310) 412-5504.  Basketball is played in side of the building, as well as outside.

 Rooms and Patio may be rented for weddings, parties, and meetings.

 Membership to Weight Room and Racquetball facility can be obtained by calling the office.

 Senior activities, Bingo meets Tuesday, Ceramics Monday –Thursday, Monday Bridge.

Bath House is opened 3 months out of the year.

Inglewood Playhouse Theater, features productions utilizing actors and actresses.

Girl Scout facility is located above the Main building, (310) 450-3720 ext 226.

  • Free Blood checking screening  on Second and Fouth Tuesday of the month.
  • Diabetic support group meets the second Monday of the Month.
