Artist Visit This Sunday

The Inglewood Main Library currently has on display the watercolor artwork of Leroy Carter. On exhibit is the collection Lotus Flowers of Kenneth Hahn Park along with selected pieces of the artist’s choosing.

Mr. Carter is a local artist and member of the Pacific Art Guild. He has loved to draw since he was young, but didn’t become an artist until he retired in 1997. Since then, he as taken class work at Santa Monica and West Los Angeles Colleges, and Emerson Adult School, and has received numerous awards in juried exhibitions.

Visit with Leroy Carter on Sunday, October 14, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. when he will be on-hand at the Library for an artist’s reception.  The watercolor exhibit will be on display throughout October. It is free and open to the public.
