Inglewood to Host Tree and Flower Planting Event
The City of Inglewood will conduct a tree planting on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Inglewood City Hall (South Mall) to culminate the City’s annual Inglewood Beautification Association (IBA) Spring Planting event and celebrate Arbor Day 2009.   City Hall is located at One Manchester Boulevard.

At 8:00 a.m., volunteers will meet at Hillcrest Boulevard and Kelso Street in front of the Post Office, and will be assigned flower planting areas.  An assortment of spring flowers will be planted throughout the City.

Then at 11:00 a.m., the planting activities will culminate with the planting of a tree at Inglewood City Hall.  The tree planting is hosted by the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department in partnership with the Inglewood Rotary Club.
