The event takes place on Monday, 24 October 2011, from 3 to 7 PM in the Gladys Waddingham Lecture Hall, Inglewood Public Library, 101 W. Manchester Boulevard.
In celebration of Open Access Week (24-30 October 2011), the Inglewood Public Library is hosting Wikipedia Loves Libraries! Wikipedia is an open access global encyclopedia that compiles millions of articles at one of the most popular websites in the world. Local Wikipedia editors, who come from many occupations, ages and experiences, will meet at the Library Lecture Hall to demonstrate Wikipedia to the public, use our library resources to improve Wikipedia pages on local history, and show everyone how easy it is to become a Wikipedia editor. Become a part of the greatest encyclopedia in history at the Inglewood Public Library!
