Inglewood High School Alumni Bring Jamba Juice Home

Inglewood, California – October 9, 2003 – The City of Inglewood is excited to welcome its first Jamba Juice to Inglewood at the Hollywood Park Marketplace located at 3351 West Century Blvd., across the street from the newly renovated Costco.   Jamba Juice will hold its formal grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, December 19th at Noon.

Two Inglewood High School graduates, Angel Delao, General Manager, and Horacio Gomez, Assistant Manager will run Inglewood’s Jamba Juice.  Both have had a tremendous career with Jamba Juice and were instrumental in convincing corporate officials that Inglewood is the perfect location.  With great excitement, Delao reported that Jamba is a community-oriented company and are committed to investing in the community and being outstanding corporate partners.

“We cannot say enough about the Hollywood Park Marketplace Development.  The tenants are exceeding their projected sales and Inglewood residents are pleased to shop locally,” said Hilda Kennedy, Director of Economic and Business Development for the City of Inglewood.  “We are very confident that Jamba Juice will have the same success as its neighbors and we are most pleased to work with home-grown Inglewood business leaders.”

For more information about the grand opening, contact Inglewood Office of Economic and Business Development at (310) 412-8800.
