Circulation Services

In light of the evolving concerns of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the Governor’s direction on mass gatherings, the City of Inglewood is taking steps to ensure the health and safety of our community and our employees.
The Inglewood Public Library will be closed until further notice.
All library programs and events have been cancelled.

During the closure of the Library:

  •      Due Dates for already-borrowed materials will be automatically extended to when we re-open.
  •      No late fees will be assessed.
  •      Patrons can return materials when the library re-opens.

Circulation Services include registration for new library cards, the check-in and check-out of library materials, collection of fines and fees, and notification to borrowers when reserved materials are available. They are also responsible for Stack Maintenance -- the shelving of books and the verification that the bookshelves are in the correct order.
