The City of Inglewood Housing Protection Department (COIHPD) is responsible for monitoring and enforcing the City’s long term rental (rent increases & just cause eviction protections) and short term rental (AirBNB & VRBO) regulations.
The Department’s goal is to develop strategies to ensure maximum compliance, as well as provide efficient, equitable, and effective communications and customer service to tenants and owners.
Attention All Inglewood Residential Property Owners subject to the Mandatory Registration Requirement, on September 20, 2022, the Inglewood City Council adopted Resolution No. 22-149, which changed the FY 22-23 registration period to January 1, 2023 to March 31, 2023, and extended the expiration date of the Registration Certificate to December 31, 2022.
