The city of Inglewood is in the process of developing the 2021-2029 Housing Element. The Housing Element, updated every eight years, is a part of the city’s General Plan <link> that outlines how the city envisions housing to be developed over this time.
This Housing Element will include the goals, policies, and programs for improving housing in the city. It will demonstrate compliance with the Regional Housing Needs Assessment (RHNA) that anticipates the housing needs across different income levels. The Housing Element will include policies that protect renters and preserve value for existing homeowners.
The city encourages participation from residents in the process of developing this Housing Element. Workshops will be held in October 2021. To be added to the notification list please email Project Planner Bernard McCrumby at email@example.com.
