Emergency Shelter Grant Program

About the Program


The Emergency Shelter Grant program was authorized by the Homeless Act of 1986. Funds allocated to the City to provide essential services (i.e. counseling, job assistance, transportation), homeless prevention activities, and to meet the costs of operating a facility that assist households that are homeless or at-risk of becoming homeless.

St. Margaret's Center


The City of Inglewood contracts with one agency, St. Margaret's Center, to provide services to households that are homeless or at-risk of becoming homeless.
