Accepting gifts and donations is an important way for the Inglewood Public Library to benefit from the generosity of the community it serves. The library acknowledges the great importance of gifts and donations to the library’s future growth and development. In recognition of such, the library welcomes gifts of cash, securities, and furnishings or real property. These gifts help enrich and improve the library’s value to the community.

The Friends of Inglewood Public Library is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping the Inglewood Public Library. The Friends focus their efforts on increasing library services and improving facilities and programs by seeking gifts, memberships, sponsors, and donations. FOIPL is a charitable organization that accepts tax-exempt donations. More info

The Inglewood Public Library uses teen and adult volunteers to enhance the work of staff and to allow community involvement in the library. Volunteer applicants are selected based on their qualifications in relation to the current needs of the Library. A volunteer position is not guaranteed to every applicant. Interested patrons must be at least 15.5 years of age and must complete an Inglewood Public Library Volunteer application. All Library Volunteers represent the Inglewood Public Library and must act in accordance with all library policies.
