  • Cities and Buildings Database - A collection of digitized images of buildings and cities drawn from across time and throughout the world, available to students, researchers and educators on the web. These have all been scanned from original slides or drawn from documents in the public domain. They are freely available to anyone with access to the Web for use in the classroom, student study, or for individual research purposes. Researchers can search for buildings by country, city, style, title, architect, date of construction, as well as other fields.

  • Inglewood Open Studios - Every year dozens of local artists invite the community into their homes and studios to show you what they've been up to! Inglewood Open Studios is an artist run event, co-hosted by Inglewood artists and local nonprofit Inglewood Cultural Arts (ICA). The two day studio tour takes place in November. In addition to the tour, Inglewood Open Studios also features a group show, which includes work by all participating tour artists. Support your local artist!

  • Photogrammar - The online repository of the Farm Security Administration, one of the largest collections in the world, searchable by photographer, location, subject or date. Of the 170,000 photographs in the collection, approximately 88,000 were printed; in addition, the collection grew and now includes six different collections. The bulk of the collection is the Farm Security Administration Collection and the Office of War Information Collection (including Domestic Operations Branch and Overseas Operations Branch photograph files). Also included are the Office of Emergency Management-Office of War Information Collection that focuses on the News Bureau photographs, the American at War Collection that contains eighty photographs, and the Portrait of America Collection that is organized around lots for foreign circulation. The time period of the collection is 1935-46.
