City Clerk's Mission

The office of the City Clerk provides many public services. The City Clerk is the official custodian of the City records and documents, and the office maintains custody of the City Seal. The Clerk's office prepares the agenda and provides support for the City Council meetings and provides legal notices. The City Clerk administers the oath of office to sworn personnel and newly elected City Officials. The Clerk is responsible for the supervision of municipal elections and maintains election reports as required by the Fair Political Practices Commission. The Clerk's office also serves as the escrow officer of the City. The City Clerk is elected at large and serves a four-year term.

Inglewood is a city in southwestern Los Angeles County, California, southwest of downtown Los Angeles. As of the 2010 U.S. Census, the city had a population of 109,673. It was incorporated on February 14, 1908.[7] The city is in the South Bay region of the Greater Los Angeles Area.[8] Los Angeles Stadium at Hollywood Park is currently under construction in the city and when completed around 2019 will be the new home of the Los Angeles Rams and the Los Angeles Chargers.
