Records Management
As the City's Records Management Officer, the City Clerk:
- Maintains centralized records, and determines retention and destruction schedules
- Maintains vital records and provides for their safety in case of disaster
- Serves as the municipal archivist and historian
Records of Official Bonds
The City Clerk is responsible for taking note of bonds required and maintaining the “Record of Official Bonds” which records full, true and correct copies of all official bonds.
