The Records Section is a service support unit within the Administrative Services Bureau. The objective of this section is to provide services to all other units of the Inglewood Police Department.
Section staffing consists of a Records Manager, one Records Supervisor, and nine Records Technicians.
The section maintains paper copies, microfilm archives, and a computerized database of all crime and arrest reports, citations, motor vehicle actions, and other departmental reports. Information is provided by telephone, mail, or in person at the public counter.
