  1. Special Enforcement Team (SET)

    The Primary focus of the Inglewood Police Department Anti-Crime team is to reduce fear of crime and victimization in a manner that elicits public support and approval.

  2. Communications Division

    The Communications Center is a state of the art emergency operations center equipped with modern technological equipment. This equipment includes a Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) System, a computerized Motorola Centracom Series II two-way radio system, and a computerized Vesta phone system.

  3. Community Affairs

    The Community Affairs Section personnel and programs are under the direction of the Office of the Chief of Police. The objectives of the Community Affairs programs and activities are to provide comprehensive crime prevention programs to all segments of the community, to serve as a well-informed, professional public information office, to link the organization's mission with community participation through the establishment of Police Community Centers, and to support Department operations through crime analysis.

  4. K-9 Unit

    The Inglewood Police Department K-9 Unit began in 1976 with six dogs. Currently, the Department provides funding for four K-9 Teams.

  5. Parking Enforcement

    The Traffic Division Parking Enforcement Unit is supervised by the Traffic Division Sergeant. The Traffic Division, Parking Enforcement Unit is composed of 29 Special Enforcement Officers (SEOs).

  6. Traffic Division

    The Traffic Division is commanded by a Lieutenant. Sworn personnel include one Sergeant, ten Motor Officers, two Accident Investigation Officers, and one Traffic Detective.
