About Councilman Alex Padilla


Mr. Padilla has resided in the City of Inglewood's 2nd District for over 25 years.

He is an executive board member and volunteer for several community organizations such as:
  • American Cancer Society - Relay for Life
  • Elks Lodge
  • Kiwanis
  • Knights of Columbus
  • Moose Lodge
  • National Association of Civilian Oversight of Law Enforcement
  • National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives
  • Salvation Army

Mr. Padilla is the immediate past president of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Hispanic American Police Command Officers Association, which is a national executive law enforcement leadership organization.

Mr. Padilla also served as the Chairperson for the City of Inglewood's Citizen Police Oversight Commission.
