Water Conservation

The Mayor and Council Members of the City of Inglewood, California held a public hearing on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at the hour of 2 p.m., in the Council Chambers, One West Manchester Boulevard, 9th Floor, Inglewood, California and adopted Emergency Ordinance No. 15-02 Establishing a Water Conservation and Water Supply Shortage Program and declared by Resolution No. 15-04 a Level 1 Water Supply Shortage in the City's water service area.

The Ordinance imposes water conservation requirements and water supply shortage restrictions on residential and commercial customers to promote water conservation. Since water supply conditions have improved substantially and the State Water Resources Control Board has eliminated percentage based water conservation, the City has retracted the Level  1 Water Supply Shortage; however, permanent water conservation practices will always be in effect.
