Branch Library Services provides library services and resources that reflect the needs and interests of the branch community.  
The Crenshaw Imperial Branch Library provides Reference, Readers' Advisory, Programming for adults and children, and celebrates our neighboring communities, organizations, friends, and patrons.

Programs for Children

E.L.F. Storytimes  -  Early Literacy for Families
October 1 - November 15   

Early Literacy for Families offer storytime programs that emphasize early literacy skills for young children - ages birth through 5 years.  Our programs are engaging and interactive and include stories, songs, music, movement, flannelboard stories, art, and play.  We also offer literacy tips that you can use at home with your children to get them ready for school.  Drop in.  No registration necessary.

We invite you to explore our unique space with interactive art installations and programming.  These three art installations embrace our diverse community while inspiring wonder and contemplation.

Crenshaw Art - Infinite LibraryThe Infinite Library

A public artwork commissioned by the City of Inglewood, "The Infinite Library," created by Susan Simpson, is a sculptural cabinet holding three dioramas and three peepholes giving patrons a glimpse of libraries from around the world. The Infinite Library was installed in April  of 2017 and is on permanent display at The Crenshaw Imperial Branch Library.
