On February 23, 2021, the City of Hawthorne appointed Ms. Tonya Griffin, General Manager of Republic Services, to the SBWIB to serve a term of office ending June 30, 2025.Staff report recommending approval of the Inglewood Transit Connector Joint Powers Authority Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement (the “JPA Agreement”) with the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (“Metro”) to form the Inglewood Transit Connector Joint Powers Authority (the “Authority”) to own, manage, and oversee the design, construction, financing, operation, and maintenance of the Inglewood Transit Connector Project.
