ALTERNATIVE METHODS

The City provides the following two alternative methods of viewing and listening to the City Council Meeting as a convenience:   

  • On Spectrum Cable Channel 35 with audio and limited video.  Please check with your cable provider for details.
  • Live online through Facebook Live, with audio and limited video, at https://www.facebook.com/cityofinglewood/

 

The disruption in service of any alternative method does not preclude the City Council or other legislative body from taking further action on an agenda item.

 

Submitting Comments Prior to Public Meeting: Members of the public may choose to submit comments electronically for consideration by the City Council or other City Legislative Body by sending them to the City Clerk/Secretary at athompson@cityofinglewood.organd Deputy City Clerk at aallen@cityofinglewood.org. To ensure distribution to the members of the Legislative Body prior to consideration of the agenda, please submit comments prior to 8:00 a.m. the day of the meeting, and in the body of the email, please identify the agenda number or subject matter. Correspondence should indicate the meeting date and agenda item. Comments received after 8:00 a.m. and prior to the close of the public hearings will be made part of the official public record of the meeting. Staff report recommending that the Mayor and Council Members authorize the immediate payment of the March 2023 invoice submitted by the County of Los Angeles Department of Animal Care & Control (DACC) for housing and general animal care and control services provided to the City of Inglewood. (General Fund) 

Recommendation:

 


  1. Authorize immediate payment in the amount of $86,084.50, due and payable on or before May 25, 2023; and
  2. Authorize the payment of the April 2023 and May 2023 invoices totaling a combined not-to-exceed amount of $175,000. (General Fund)

Staff report recommending that the Mayor and Council Members approve the First Amendment to Agreement No. 22-317 with WSP USA Environment & Infrastructure, Inc., changing the name from Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. Staff report recommending that the Mayor and Council Members approve the purchase of three Elderly Nutrition Program replacement delivery vehicles from 72 Hour, LLC doing business as “National Auto Fleet Group” using the terms, conditions, and pricing in National Auto Fleet Group/Sourcewell Contract No.   091521-NAF. (Grant Fund)

  1. Approve purchase in an amount not to exceed $266,848;
  2. Approve Amendment Twelve for the Elderly Nutrition Program Services Subaward Number ENP202107 with County of Los Angeles Workforce Development, Aging and Community Services, which provides a grant to reimburse the City for the purchase of the three vehicles and reallocates grant funding within the Elderly Nutrition Program; and
  3. Adopt a resolution amending the 2022-2023 Budget in the amount of $266,848.

8. POLICE DEPARTMENT

Staff report recommending that the Mayor and Council Members adopt a resolution amending the Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Budget to include the United States Department of Justice (USDOJ) FY 2021 Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) funds, in the amount of $53,579, from the previous fiscal year.

Staff report recommending that the Mayor and Council Members approve Subrecipient Agreement between Los Angeles County and the City of Inglewood for State Homeland Security Grant Program (SHSGP) Funds in the amount of $250,000.

  1. Approve Subrecipient Agreement; and
  2. Adopt a resolution accepting $250,000 from the State Homeland Security Program Grant Funds and approving its appropriation to the General Fund.

DR-2. FINANCE DEPARTMENT

Staff report recommending that the Mayor and Council Members direct the Mayor to execute a funding agreement, approved as to form by the City Attorney, with the Inglewood Transit Connector Joint Powers Authority (JPA) to contribute $7.6 million annually (Fiscal Year 2023 dollars), as adjusted for inflation, during the operations period to support the ongoing cost of operating and maintaining the Inglewood Transit Connector (Project), and $3.75 million annually in each of the two years prior, as adjusted for inflation, to planned construction completion (estimated to occur in 2028) to establish a project reserve for unexpected operating period obligations.
