The Inglewood Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., will partner with the City of Inglewood to present the Successful Aging Fair on Saturday, May 12, 2018, from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. at the Inglewood Senior Center, 111 N. Locust St.
The event, which is FREE and open to the public, is designed to provide attendees with tools and resources to assist them in living holistic and healthy lives. The event will include free health screenings, and health related information and activities. Screenings will include vision, dental, anemia, fall risk, blood pressure and more. There will also be yoga, zumba, music therapy, healthy cooking demonstrations, and adult coloring sessions as well as information regarding estate planning, insurance (Medicaid/Medical), and free durable medical supplies courtesy of the Inglewood Rotary. The underlying theme of the event is “To do our best work and live our best life, we must first take care of ourselves!”
