On Thursday November 21, 2019 at approximately 7:31 a.m., Inglewood Police Officers responded to the area of Manchester Boulevard and Hindry Avenue in regards to a possible hit and run traffic collision.

Preliminary investigation indicates that a stakebed style truck was travelling northbound on Hindry Avenue and made a right turn to eastbound Manchester Boulevard, striking a male Hispanic adult, who was riding a bicycle. The bicyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Inglewood Police Department Traffic Investigators have since made contact with the driver of the truck and the investigation is ongoing.

At this time, it is unknown if alcohol and or drugs were a factor in the collision and the cause of the collision has yet to be determined.
