On July 25, 2020, at approximately 5:14 PM, Inglewood Police Officers responded to the area of Crenshaw Boulevard and 104th Street in regards to a multi-vehicle collision that occurred in the intersection within the City of Inglewood.
Upon arrival, officers located a total of three vehicles involved in the collision. Los Angeles County Fire personnel arrived on the scene to treat the involved parties. The driver of one of the vehicles was treated at the scene by LACO Fire personnel and transported to a local area hospital for further medical treatment. Unfortunately, the driver of that vehicle (male adult) succumbed to injuries sustained as a result of the collision. Next of Kin notifications have been made by the Inglewood Police Department.
The driver of the other vehicle involved in the collision, remained at the scene and was also treated by Los Angeles County Fire personnel at the scene for minor injuries and not transported to the hospital.
At this time, the cause of the traffic collision has not been determined and remains under investigation.
