Officers Quintanar, Gonzalez and Humphrey were recognized at the event for their commitment to combat drunk driving.

MADD California celebrated its 40th year with the virtual statewide 2020 Law Enforcement Recognition Awards. This event took place to honor officers in law enforcement with awards for the number of driving under the influence arrests made annually. Each arrest is a life saved and the officers are awarded for their service as they dedicate their lives to keeping roads safe.

Officers Quintanar, Gonzalez and Humphrey were recognized at the event for their commitment to combat drunk driving.

In total, these officer arrested over 150 drunk drivers and took them off the streets of Inglewood in 2019. To qualify for an award, an officer must make a minimum of 25 arrest in a calendar year. 

Officer Quintanar earned the “Top Cop” award and a "MADD" award for the department with 77 DUI Arrests.

Officer Gonzalez earned a "MADD" award for arresting 55 suspected impaired drivers. 

Officer Humphrey earned a "Deuce" award for making 27 DUI arrest.

All three officers joined the department in 2017 and have made over 300 DUI arrests.
