Only ‘SAFE and SANE’ fireworks are permitted and legally sold in the City of Inglewood.

The Inglewood Police Department would like to remind community members that the use of illegal fireworks will not be permitted or tolerated. The use of such items poses a serious threat to the health and safety of the public. In recent years, as the use of illegal fireworks has dramatically increased, residents have often complained about fire hazards caused by falling embers and pets being frightened by the loud noises.⁣

Only ‘SAFE and SANE’ fireworks are permitted and legally sold in the City of Inglewood. ⁣

Administrative fines for using illegal fireworks can be as much as $500.00. ⁣

Illegal fireworks that are in progress can be reported to the non-emergency line. ⁣

Call 911 immediately if there is an active fire, or a person is injured.
