The City of Inglewood will host the “Passing of the Golden Shovel” NFL Green event on Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Edward Vincent Park. During the opening ceremony for this symbolic “greening” event, representatives of Tampa Bay (the previous host city) will pass the “golden shovel” to the City of Inglewood marking our countdown to Super Bowl LVI. The event will include the planting of “56” trees and other activities designed to increase the park’s tree inventory, beautify the park and encourage community.
