[ARCHIVED] It Takes A Village Community Quilting Exhibition

It Takes A Village, a community public art project by Rogers Park Artist in Residence Shelley Heffler is our new exhibition at the Inglewood Public Library, 101 West Manchester Boulevard. The fabric artwork created by 22 community members as part of Ms. Heffler’s residency, is on view from February 22 through April 2, 2022 during regular Library hours.  A public event to meet the artist and participants will be held on Saturday, February 26, from 12p.m. to 1 p.m.  This project is supported in part by the National Endowment for the Arts / Arts Engagement in American Communities program, Inglewood Public Art Fund, Inglewood Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department and Inglewood Public Library.
