I have a family member with Alzheimer’s and I need help, how can I get the help I need?
The Care Advocate project is an integral component in the ongoing care management services available through the Senior Center. Through a grant from the Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Association, Inc., a Care Advocate is available to assist clients with Alzheimer's Disease and other dementias, their caregivers and families.

These services include client intakes and assessments, referrals to needed services which may include medical evaluation, legal assistance, behavior management, transportation and appropriate out-of-home placement, as well as respite, supportive counseling and support groups for caregivers.

The Care Advocate identifies and accesses the informal neighborhood networks and conducts community education presentations. For more information, call 310-412-4380.
