Eloy Morales, Jr., was elected to serve the 3rd District of Inglewood on April 1, 2003. He brings with him a strong background in community involvement, education, and working with the families of Inglewood through his position as a representative for the State Assembly.

As a Field Representative, Eloy Morales, Jr., worked with State Assembly Member Jerome E Horton to bring Medical Care, Scholarships, and a responsive government to the citizens of the Inglewood community. Through his dedicated work within the district, he was elected to serve as the Chair of the Democratic Party's 51st Assembly District.

Community Involvement
As a demonstration of his commitment to the Inglewood community, Eloy Morales, Jr., along with his father and founder Eloy Morales, Sr., worked for many years to establish a first class sports program for the underprivileged children in the Inglewood community. This program has been in existence for over 20 years, and it has enriched the lives of many children.

Civil Service
Eloy Morales, Jr., has always been active in the Inglewood community and because of his loyal and dedicated civic service, he was appointed to serve on the Aviation and Planning Commissions for the 3rd councilman district. While serving on the Aviation Commission, he was responsible for evaluating the impact of Los Angeles World Airports operations on the quality of life for the residents of Inglewood, including noise, traffic, and air pollution.

In his role as a Planning Commissioner, he was responsible for the administration of local zoning codes and land use development. Members of this Commission also serve as an advisory body to the City Council for Zone Changes, General Plan Amendments, and Zoning Code Amendments.

Profile
Eloy Morales, Jr. has resided in the 3rd District of the Inglewood community for 25 years. Eloy earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from California State University, Northridge and a Juris Doctorate Degree from California Western School of Law. Mr. Morales, Jr., resides with his wife, Ana and son, Nicolas in the 3rd Councilman District.
