Responsibilities
As the City's chief legal officer, Mr. Campos is responsible for advising the City Council, City Manager, and the City Executive team on a wide variety of municipal law issues.
Professional Background
Mr. Campos has worked for the City Attorney's Office for over 22 years. Prior to his appointment, as the City Attorney, Mr. Campos served as the City's Chief Assistant City Attorney from 2009 to the present. As the Chief Assistant City Attorney, he was the City's principal legal advisor and counsel for the Inglewood Police Department, Human Resources Department and the Finance Department. He was also the primary supervisor of the Office's Criminal Prosecutor Unit.
Mr. Campos joined the Inglewood City Attorney's Office in 1992 as a Deputy City Attorney where he was responsible for the handling of criminal matters for the Department. From 1992 to 2009 he has held various positions in the City Attorney's Office.
Education
Mr. Campos attended California State University at Long Beach and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Ken later graduated from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, California in 1987.
